During my search, I found two interesting patents on a process which is mathematically impossible: compression of random data.

@Skeptic Bias: perfectly random data can’t be compressed, that’s true. However text eg. contains some words more often than others, like `is` or `and`, and compression uses those distributions to generate a smaller output.
